Instructions

  • Toast the Bread: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the baguette or ciabatta into 1/2-inch thick pieces, brush them with olive oil, and toast them in the oven until golden and crisp, about 7-10 minutes.

  • Prepare the Avocado Mixture: In a bowl, mash the avocados. Add chopped basil, minced garlic, a drizzle of olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Mix everything until well combined.

  • Prepare the Tomato Mixture: In a separate bowl, toss the halved cherry tomatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt.
